The Rite of Spring at 100

This project encompasses the artist-in-residence periods throughout the 2012-2013 Carolina Performing Arts season related to the 100th Anniversary of the Rite of Spring. I am currently interviewing artists to learn more about their artistic processes as they create new works of art specifically related to Stravinsky's Rite of Spring. In addition to short teaser videos produced throughout the year (to provide the audience with a sneak peek of the forthcoming performances) the final product will be a 15-30 minute documentary that shows the variety of ways in which artists create, perform, and find inspiration from the same original work. A few selections of the interviews and teasers are listed below as the larger project is still in progress and not all elements are available to the general public.
